In late 2019, the Osceola County Board of County Commissioners refinanced bonds originally used to build the Osceola Parkway. This $200 million, along with state and federal grants and “mobility fees” collected by the County, will be used to design and construct key roadways in Osceola County.

This project will widen Boggy Creek Road from two to four-lanes from Simpson Road to Narcoossee Road, approximately 5.9 miles. Other improvements will include sidewalks, bicycle accommodations, and enhancements to curbs, gutters, and drainage.

Right-of-way acquisition is anticipated to begin in early 2022.
