Project Description:

In late 2019, the Osceola County Board of County Commissioners refinanced bonds originally used to build the Osceola Parkway. This $200 million, along with state and federal grants and “mobility fees” collected by the County, will be used to design and construct key roadways in Osceola County.

Osceola County is planning to widen Osceola Polk Line Road from two to four lanes from Old Lake Wilson Road to US 17/92. This 2.9 mile project is in conjunction with the Central Florida Expressway Authority plans to extend the Poinciana Parkway to Osceola Polk Line Road.

Construction is expected to take place in fiscal years 2023-2024.
