The Central Florida Expressway Authority (CFX) is planning the Poinciana Parkway Extension to CR 532 at the Osceola/Polk County line. CFX approved the recommended route on October 10, 2019. The project is a 3-mile limited access roadway and impacts dozens of property owners. Design of this project is expected to be complete in early 2022.
Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise (FTE) is conducting a PD&E study for the second phase which is a new stretch of roadway that will extend about four miles from Osceola-Polk County Line Road/County Road (CR) 532 to State Road (SR) 429 in Osceola County, Florida.
FTE and FDOT will host an Alternatives Public Information Meeting online and by telephone on February 22, 2022, at 5:30 p.m. An in-person Alternatives Meeting will also be held on February 24, 2022, from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m., at AdventHealth Nicholson Center, 404 Celebration Place, Celebration, Florida 34747.
